National Asbestos Awareness Week: 21 - 27 November 2022
This year’s National Asbestos Awareness Week (NAAW) campaign reminds Australians to Think Twice About Asbestos. This year, we ask home occupiers and tradespeople to 'do things the right way' by ensuring the proper and lawful disposal of asbestos.
Our focus this year is on preventing the intentional illegal dumping of asbestos and the often-unintentional improper disposal of asbestos waste in kerbside bins.
The campaign pack provides a range of materials for organisations and individuals to use. Design files are also available for you to insert your own logo.
The purpose of this pack is to achieve a nationally consistent awareness campaign during NAAW 2022. Using consistent and recognisable imagery and messaging from stakeholders, we can make an impact and achieve our aim of preventing exposure to asbestos fibres and eliminate asbestos-related diseases in Australia.
If you have any questions about using the pack or need assistance, please email events@asbestossafety.gov.au.
